Rain and snow that fell overnight have caused floods again today in some areas of the Municipality of Podujeva. To take a closer look at the situation, the Mayor of Podujeva, Shpejtim Bulliqi, together with the Director of Public Services, Protection and Rescue (DPSPR), Fevzi Jetullahu, and the Director of Inspection, Ajet Potera visited the "Shala" and "Toverlanet" neighbourhoods that have been flooded as a result of the narrowing of the ravine bed and its exit under the highway. According to the statement issued by the Municipality of Podujeva, in this area since the morning the emergency team of the municipality and the company involved has intervened in opening the creek bed. During the site visit, Mayor Bulliqi said that the Municipality of Podujeva, as well as two weeks ago, has committed all its capacities to come to the aid of the residents in the areas affected by the floods.
