The centuries-old efforts of the Albanian people for freedom and the most sublime sacrifice of the martyrs have given the country the greatest value, which is the Kosovo Liberation Army, a value that must be preserved and protected by everyone. This was stated today by the mayor of Deçan, Bashkim Ramosaj, during the solemn session held in honor of Martyrs' Day, in which case he added that anyone who tries to deny this value will not get anywhere. Recalling the contribution of all generations and the glorious struggle of the KLA, Ramosaj said that cooperation with NATO allies has been built on them. He said that the people of Kosovo have gone through difficult times, in which case many dilemmas have been opened, but stressed that freedom is the most important. The municipality of Deçan has 229 martyrs, while to honor them today homage is being paid at their graves and at the tombstones of heroes.
