Rama after voting: Democracy is a sport, go down to the field, shoot your penalty and let the best one win
At the polling station in Surrell, voted the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama together with his wife. Rama, after exercising the right to vote, said that on this day, there should not be negative feelings towards anyone because, as he said, we are a big family in the same homeland. Rama, who is asking the Albanian voters for the third term to govern, called on everyone to go to the polls, saying ‘everyone should go down to the field and shoot with their vote’.
With the right to vote in Albania there are 3,588,869 people, they will have the opportunity to elect the deputies who will represent their will in the next four years in the Albanian Parliament. 1841 candidates from 13 parties, coalitions or independents are running for 140 seats in the Albanian Parliament, of which 39.76% or 732 are female candidates.
