Representatives of institutions and many citizens have paid homage in honor of the fallen in Likoshan and Qirez. It was said that so far justice has been denied but it is an institutional obligation to prosecute, try and punish the criminals of the Serbian genocidal state. 23 years ago, in Likoshan and Qirez, specifically in the place called "The three oaks", fighting took place between the Kosovo Liberation Army and Serbian criminal forces. Several Serb police officers were killed in the fighting. As a result, enemy forces surrounded the two villages where they executed 24 innocent civilians. These victims were remembered and honored today by many citizens and institutional representatives. The acting president, Vjosa Osmani, after the homage, said that today they are honoring the sacrifice and all the contribution given by those who fought against the Serbian genocidal forces, but also all the fallen and martyrs.
