On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence, the acting president, Vjosa Osmani, together with the Vetevendosje Movement candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurti, paid homage at the grave of former President Ibrahim Rugova. "We honored the architect of Kosovo's Independence, the historic president, Ibrahim Rugova. The man who sublimated and unified the demands of Kosovo Albanians for freedom, independence and sovereignty. The man who opened the doors of the whole world so that our voice, the voice of the people of Kosovo is heard everywhere," said Osmani.
