The flag of the Republic of Kosovo was solemnly raised in front of the government building.

The president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, and the president of Albania, Bajram Begaj, as well as the prime minister, Albin Kurti, took part in the ceremony. The Speaker Glauk Konjufca and members of the government cabinet were also present.

They also paid respects near the obelisk for the missing.
