No Serbs were convicted last year for sexual violence against women and men during the last war in Kosovo. In November 2022, Zoran Vukotic was sentenced to ten years in prison for the second time by the Basic Court in Prishtina. The Specialist Prosecutor's Office is investigating 64 cases of sexual violence. Meanwhile, last year, more than 200 survivors of sexual violence filed their stories to the Governmental Commission for the Recognition and Verification of the Status of persons violated during the war.
