Despite his excellent start with Mallorca, Vedat Muriqi is expected to return to Lazio in the summer, after the end of this season. The 27-year-old striker joined the Spanish team in a six-month loan deal with a purchase option of 12 million euros
According to Turkish media, Muriqi will not be bought on a permanent basis from Mallorca in the summer, which means that he will return to Lazio at the end of June, KosovaPress reports.
The Kosovar striker will then seek to find a new club, while his former team Fenerbahce wants to reunite with him, however it is learned that it is impossible for him to return to Maurizio Sarri's team.
Muriqi, who has a contract with Lazio until 2025, has made 11 appearances so far this season for Mallorcan, scoring three goals and providing one assist at the time.
