Lushtaku: The Special Court is a political court
The former general of the KLA, Sami Lushtaku, stated that the Government of Kosovo should do more to defens the former fighters of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Present at the march organized in Pristina in support of the former leaders of the KLA, Lushtaku said that the Special Court is a political court.
"Albanians have never run away from justice, therefore, in this case, we only seek justice. There are dozens of massacres in Kosovo and no punishment has happened so far. KLA soldiers are being held unjustly in The Hague… The Government of Kosovo must do more… Also, I am convinced that the Special Court is a political court", said Lushtaku.
The "March for Justice" was organized a day before the start of the judicial process in The Hague, as the former leaders of the KLA, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, are being accused of war crimes and the same are staying in custody since November 2020.
