The outgoing Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, said that the decision to open the energy market for businesses “is not surprising since the law has been in force since 2016.”

Regarding the protests announced by the Chamber of Commerce and businesses, Kurti said that “the time of barricades is over.”

“The Chamber of Commerce is now trying to block the main roads with a request to postpone the decision, justifying it by saying they will be ready in one year, ignoring the fact that they themselves have made no preparations for eight years... To protect 1% of businesses at the expense of 99%, they want to build barricades at the entrance of Prishtina, but the time of barricades is over. I call on businesses and chambers to think about efficiency,” he said. /KosovaPress
