The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received today the Head of the Liaison Office of the Slovak Republic in Kosovo, Rastislav Kostilnik, from whom he received congratulations on taking office and success in his new responsibilities. In this meeting, he asked Kostlink to recognize Kosovo. Kurti thanked Kostilnik for the visit and for the support in visa liberalization for Kosovo and called on Slovakia to push forward this decision as soon as possible for the citizens of Kosovo. Prime Minister Kurti also expressed interest in expanding and deepening bilateral cooperation between the two countries and urged Slovakia to join the EU group that recognizes Kosovo. Kurti welcomed Slovakia's interest in dialogue and stressed that it must be well-prepared, with a transatlantic and transformative approach, guided by democratic values. He also stressed the fact that Slovakia, as a member of NATO and the EU, can support and advance Kosovo's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance, and seek support for membership in international organizations.
