During January, the number of Kosovo citizens affected by COVID-19 seeking hospital treatment at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo and General Hospitals has decreased. But the acting director of the University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo, Valbon Krasniqi says that recent events such as the election campaign and the snap elections of February 14, may affect the increase of coronavirus cases in the country. Krasniqi said that since the number of coronavirus patients who are being treated at the UCCK has already decreased, the Internal Medicine Clinic has been freed and the treatment of non-Covid patients in these clinics will start soon.
