Almost every month at the Oncology Clinic during this year, about 140 people are diagnosed with malignant diseases. In the first three months of the year, more than 60 patients were infected with COVID-19. None of those infected have lost their lives to the virus. The Director of the Oncology Clinic, Ilir Kurtishi tells KosovaPress that during 2020, 1370 new cases of cancer were registered and the number of those who were infected with COVID-19 by the end of last year was over 350.
