The total closure of the gastronomy sector and shopping malls is expected to take place from Tuesday for 12 days. This proposal of the Minister of Health has come due to the increase in the number of those infected with Covid-19. The President of the Gastronomy Association in Prishtina, Veton Zuka stressed that they did not agree on such a closure, but as he says seeing the high mortality rate due to Covid-19 and the reduction of hospital capacity, will respect this proposal. However, Zuka emphasizes for KosovaPress that the opening should happen after 12 days, because according to him businesses can not survive.
