​Consumer prices are rising in the pandemic, inflation reaches 1.2 percent

Consumer prices rose by 0.4 percent in March this year, compared to February 2021. In the overall Consumer Price Index, the price increase for oils and fats was recorded by 2.8%, for fruits by 3.8%, for alcoholic beverages by 1.6%, shoes by 3.1%, fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment by 4.7%. Whereas, a decrease in prices is observed for vegetables -1.5%. This publication from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics also states that the annual inflation rate, measured in March 2021, with March 2020, was 1.2%.
