The issue of air pollution in Pristina has long been a topic of debate. The capital of Kosovo has long been facing a high level of pollution. While the mayor Shpend Ahmeti has warned that there may be a tax imposition on vehicles entering the city due to environmental pollution, a 'great contribution' to air pollution is being made by the citizens themselves. This can best be seen from the smoke of a chimney of a house on Bedri Shala Street, which has caused a tremendous air pollution.
