4 victims and 368 new cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo
NIPHK has announced that during the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 2,843 samples taken from UCHSK the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which, 368 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours 4 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 2 cases (71, 86 years old), Prizren 1 case (78 years old) and Shtime 1 case (62 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 67,008 out of 291,847 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,579. During the last 24 hours, 241 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 58,600 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,829
