4 deaths and 307 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) has announced that most cases are in the Municipality of Prishtina, where 128 positive cases have been recorded. During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1,787 samples taken from the UCHSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field were tested, of which 307 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours 4 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Deaths are from the municipalities: Fushe-Kosova 1 case (58 years old), Malisheva 1 case (63 years old), Prizren 1 case (63 years old) and Suhareka 1 case (58 years old). The total number of positive cases is 63,089 out of 256,355 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,532. During the last 24 hours, 221 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 54,661 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,896.
