The Chamber of Trade and Industry Kosova has welcomed the decision taken at the meeting between the Government of Kosovo and the Government of Albania, through which they coordinated the construction of the commercial project in Porto-Romano, the integration with the Durrës-Prishtina railway and the Dry Port in Kosovo. The Chamber of Trade and Industry considers that this decision will positively affect stability, security and economic development in the country by increasing the speed and reducing the costs of transportation and movement of citizens. According to the Chamber, with the start of the work on the Railway, Kosovo will become the center of the transportation of goods and the movement of citizens in the Balkans. "However, we consider that the railway should have two lines, so that we can have both going and coming at the same time, because being bidirectional it offers many more possibilities", the press release states. The Chamber of Trade considers that the construction of a single-line railway does not even come close to meeting the demands of businesses and citizens to increase the speed of sending goods and the circulation of citizens. The Chamber of Trade and Industry Kosovo supports the initiatives that increase national cooperation, as well as positively affect the economy of the two countries.
