The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, stated that at a critical time for Kosovo's energy sector, she is proud to have signed the agreement with MCC on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo, which according to her is very important for the energy sector and the country's economy. "This program will enable the stabilization of electricity supply, the integration of renewable energy sources and the preparation of the workforce for employment in the energy sector, with a special focus on women," she wrote on social networks. She thanked the MCC Director for Kosovo, Sarah Olmstead, and the Local Project Development Team Leader, Lum Mita, as well as all members of her team and cabinet who have contributed to the development of the program. "I am grateful to the Kosovo Government and MCC teams for the great work done to get here, and I promise that we will continue to work with dedication to realize the program as quickly as possible, in accordance with the needs and demands of the sector", added Rizvanolli. Kosovo signed the agreement with MCC in the amount of 236.7 million euros whose projects will focus on the energy sector.
