The Democratic Party of Kosovo has expressed itself against postponing the decision on illegal license plates in Kosovo.

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the PDK, Abelard Tahiri, after the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly, said that the sovereignty of Kosovo must be respected and that illegal license plates cannot be allowed to be used indefinitely.

"Each action of the Republic of Kosovo that it will undertake in relation to the Republic of Serbia is important to be coordinated with the United States of America, but above all the most important thing is that this coordination results in the respect of the sovereignty of Kosovo. The use of such license plates cannot be allowed indefinitely. I believe that whatever action the Government of Kosovo takes that respects the sovereignty of our country and in that part of Kosovo, undoubtedly has the support of PDK", said Tahiri.
