Tonight, in the evening, one of the most popular world figures of the moment is expected to land at Rinas airport. Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, has been leading the war against Russia for two years, mobilizing the nation and the military and convincing most of the world to stand by his country.

He is expected to be received by Prime Minister Edi Rama. However, the events in Ukraine and security elements will also determine the agenda of Volodymyr Zelensky in Tirana, where what is known for sure is the participation in the February 28 summit. Although a meeting with President Bajram Begaj and Speaker Lindita Nikolla that were planned in the preliminary agenda are cancelled.

Zelenksy will participate in a forum that will bring together EU and Southeast European leaders on Wednesday. Ursula Von der Leyen will come from the European Union, whereas they are waiting for the confirmation from Greece and Kosovo, whether they will be represented by prime ministers or presidents. Serbia has announced that it will be present through President Aleksander Vucic. The leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans will also stay on Thursday, to participate in a Summit on integration.

A few days ago, in a message on the "X" platform, the head of state of Ukraine praised Albania's support to Ukraine and expressed his impatience for a safer future for all of Europe. Albania has imposed some sanctions on Russia, while condemning its war in Ukraine.
