#YesYouDid campaign begins, Bill Clinton: NATO bombings were appropriate, they do not compare to the Russian invasion
A Twitter campaign has
started in support of the statement of the former US President Bill Clinton,
who said that the bombings were appropriate for the 1999 NATO air campaign on
Serbian military targets to stop the humanitarian disaster against the
Albanians in Kosovo. and that they do not compare to the Russian invasion. The
campaign has the hashtag #yesyoudid in support of NATO's fair campaign.
Speaking to CNN, Clinton said the right thing
has already been done.
"I think we did the right thing at the right time. And if we hadn’t done it, this crisis [Russia's invasion of Ukraine] might have occurred even sooner", Clinton said in an interview on the "Fareed Zakaria GPS" show...
