The Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector of Kosovo states that many companies are laying off their workers at a time when the country is facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The same Trade Union estimates that the emergency package approved by the Government of Kosovo is not sufficient to pay all private sector workers.
