Austrian MEP Lukas Mandl said that political leadership must protect freedom of speech.

He made this statement during a discussion with students from the University of Pristina, where he spoke about European integration, challenges, and Kosovo's perspective.

In Pristina, he emphasized the role of education, stating that it is an essential part of the future.

MEP Mandl also spoke about the risks and threats to democracy, stating that polarization is harmful.
