The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Svecla, has stated that the Kosovo Police carried out a successful operation in Zubin Potok, during which six locations were raided and weapons and various equipment were seized.

According to Svecla, during the operation different types of weapons, radio communication devices, a hand grenade, military uniforms, as well as 213 rounds of ammunition were found and confiscated.

“The evidence secured during this operation demonstrates continuous efforts for illegal activities with the potential to undermine security and stability in the country,” the minister wrote on Facebook.

He added that state security institutions will respond with full determination to any individual or group that, through criminal actions, poses a direct threat to the safety of citizens and the country.

“Law and order and security in the Republic of Kosovo remain an institutional priority. Any action that endangers these principles will be treated with maximum seriousness and without any compromise,” Svecla stated.
