'We influence the development of the country', businesses seek support from the state
In the absence of support from the state, small businesses in Kosovo are using fairs to promote their products. They say that the impact of these businesses is great on the economic development of the country, while they present the need for institutional support.
These businesses show that the citizens' interest in their products is satisfactory, adding that the prices are also reasonable.
Several businesses from different parts of Kosovo, but also from the region, participated in the "Ekspos Deçani" fair.
The representative of the cake shop "Cakes by Darina" from Istog, Kaltrina Arifaj, said that several types of cakes are participating in this fair, but the emphasis is on Dubai chocolate. For the purchase of this product, she emphasized that the demands are increasing.
Through the exhibition of articles at the fair, Arfiaj expects to increase the number of customers, as well as cooperation with other businesses.
She said that there should be support from the state for small businesses, as according to her, they have a key impact on the development of the country.
Meanwhile, Besnik Tahirukaj participated in the "Ekspos Deçani" with several types of honey. He also showed them their prices, while he said that the support of the state is not enough for the development of his business.
In addition to businesses from Kosovo, those from the municipalities of Puka, Lezha and Ulcinj also participated in this fair.
Ardina Nikaj, an assistant in one of the poverty alleviation associations in the city of Puka, participated in the fair with some jam products, medicinal plants and alcoholic beverages.
She emphasized that the prices of the exhibited products are reasonable for their value. Nikaj said that jams with soft plants cost 2 euros, while those with wild plants cost 3 euros.
Nikaj emphasized that fairs are fruitful for businesses, because they can advertise their products.
The traditional summer fair "Ekspos Deçani" was held for the 13th time and was open for two days.
