The World Bank has pointed out that the biggest hit during the pandemic in Kosovo has been received by private sector employees with 88 percent, who despite state support packages, businesses of all kind are suffering losses, which affects their operation and ability for payment.

In the report, the Labor Markets of the Western Balkans under the COVID-19 crisis, published by the World Bank, it is stated that the restrictions on movement and social distance have damaged labor supply, demand, transport, and travel in an unprecedented manner.
