VV: The municipality of Prishtina is planning to misuse a tender worth 10 million euros
From some investigations of the Vetëvendosje, it is being claimed that the Municipality of Prishtina has made another misuse of contracts of public money, a contract related to SMART public lighting.
This procurement contract was published by the Municipality of Prishtina on April 5, 2024, and is scheduled to be opened on April 30, Tuesday at 14:00, the value of which is 10 million euros, with a duration of 3 years.
The coordinator of the sub-committees of the VV in Prishtina, Arben Brovina, said that the researches of the experts of the VV, regarding this call, record that the required criteria do not at all express the possibility of competition and the participation of more economic operators using many requirements and criteria which are not directly related to this procurement activity.
He added that this contract violates transparency because in the public it is presented as a service and not work, which in the announcement is presented as work.
Brovina called on state bodies and the Prosecutor's Office to investigate and prevent the next abuse.
