VV challenges the opposition: If there is a request, we will support the dissolution of the Assembly
The ruling party, Vetëvendosje, will support the eventual request of the opposition parties for the dissolution of the Assembly of Kosovo, which would automatically send the country to early parliamentary elections.
VV MP, Adnan Rrustemi, tells KosovaPress that they are ready for early elections and will prove this by supporting the self-dismissal of MPs.
According to him, if the opposition parties were serious about the continuous demands for early elections, then they now have the opportunity to initiate the demand for the dissolution of the eighth legislature.
However, he is skeptical that the opposition will do such a thing, even ironically asking what kind of opposition is the one that is not ready for elections.
The change of VV's stance on early elections, MP Rrustemi says that it is not related to the international pressure on the issue of the dinar and the establishment of the Association.
He is convinced that VV will be the serial winner of the elections and that Albin Kurti will lead the government again.
Speaking about sending the proposals to Brussels on the CBK regulation and next week's meeting of the chief negotiators, Rrustemi says that the same is indisputable and that it will not be questioned. As he says, the only issue that will be discussed are the options that will enable the transfer of financial support from Serbia to the Serbian citizens of Kosovo.
Further, he lists, as he says, the successes that the Kurti Government has achieved three years after taking office.
