Von der Leyen offers condolences to the families of the victims of the accident in Bulgaria

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has reacted to the tragic accident that took place this morning in Bulgaria, where 46 people, mostly from northern Macedonia, were killed in a bus crash. She expressed her condolences to the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. "My deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who perished in the tragic bus accident last night in Bulgaria. I also wish a fast recovery to those injured. In these terrible times, Europe stands in solidarity with you", Ursula von der Leyen wrote on Twitter.
