Despite the easing of anti-COVID measures, the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, has declared that a new wave of pandemic is inevitable at the end of August. For this, he has once again called on citizens to be vaccinated, so that the ‘delta’ variant does not have major consequences for the health and economy of the country.

At a press conference held immediately after the government meeting, Vitia said that the "Delta" variant is very dangerous and the identification of 2 cases in Kosovo poses a risk of its rapid spread.
