This Thursday, the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia received first dose of the Astra-Zeneca vaccine. Vitia after being vaccinated against COVID-19 called on citizens to get the COVID-19 vaccine. He also stressed that the two types of vaccine, Astra-Zeneca and Pfizer are safe, adding that Kosovo will not accept vaccines of Chinese and Russian origin, not because of policy but because of the safety of vaccines. Vitia has warned of a third wave of the coronavirus if citizens are reluctant to get vaccinated. While he said that the measures taken against COVID-19 will be reviewed.
