Our judoka, Akil Gjakova won the gold medal at the European Judo Championship, which was held in Prishtina on Saturday, December 16.

Kosovo presented four judokas in this competition, where Dardan Cena, Distria Krasniqi and Nora Gjakova were decorated with bronze medals, while Akili received the gold medal, reports KosovaPress.

After this success, through a post on "Facebook", Akil has now reacted after the success in Prishtina.

"Victory in the homeland weighs differently! My Kosovo. Thank you for everyone's support", Akil wrote on "Facebook", where in his post he also attached a video of the final where he won the gold medal.
