The Vetëvendosje has accused Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti of making Serbia a "partner" in Ujmani Lake. This opposition party says that Washington's commitments at this point are contrary to the country's Constitution. For this they said that they are considering the possibility to send it to the constitutional court.

Through a press conference, the MP Liburn Aliu, said that the chief executive has set a harmful precedent for the country, where Serbia will now seek to discuss any natural resources of Kosovo.
