Position and opposition came together today at the conference "New Chapter of Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue" of the Democratic Institute of Kosovo (KDI). While the ruling party said that they are prepared for this process, the opposition said that the Kurti Government is unprepared for the dialogue. On the other hand, reaching a final agreement is seen as far from achievable by KDI. Acting head of the parliamentary group of Vetëvendosje Movement, Mimoza Kusari-Lila said that they are ready to continue the dialogue, based on established principles, but both sides should engage, not only Kosovo. She even raised doubts whether it should be called the final phase of the dialogue, after yesterday's statements by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that he will not recognize Kosovo. In addition, Kusari-Lila said all past agreements that have been deemed harmful will come with new proposals, such as the national minority council, an alternative to the association.
