The Minister of Internal Affairs, Agim Veliu addressed a public letter to the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo / EU Special Representative, Ambassador, Thomas Szunyog, stating that in recent years, there have been cases when the Serbian authorities in an organized manner collect and then transport migrants near the border of the Republic of Kosovo, in order for them to pass through illegal routes in the territory of our state.

At the beginning of this letter, Minister Veliu says that in recent years, the Republic of Kosovo and other countries in Southeast Europe have faced an increasing number of irregular migrants, who, in most cases, use Kosovo as a transit country to reach EU countries.
