The Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Philology at UP has inaugurated today the “Mobile Journalism Laboratory & UPpodcast”. The value of this project is over 25 thousand euros, and it is supported by the “Tayna Foundation”.

The financier of this project, singer Doruntina Shala - Tayna, said that she is proud to have managed to support this department, so that according to her “tomorrow young journalists will have better opportunities to follow their dreams”.

“Today I am very proud to have the opportunity to support this field, so that tomorrow the next generations of young journalists and younger generations will have the opportunity to follow their passion, and share it with the whole world, and discover it for the new generations. Being here, I have understood how important it is to support someone, to have someone to support you, and how important it is to encourage others to follow their dreams. I am grateful to the faculty and administration for the work they have done over the years,” she said.

While Vice-Rector Avni Hajdari said that this is a long-term investment that will benefit the students, but also the University of Prishtina.
