In the report published on Tuesday regarding the state of human rights around the world, it is stated that the Government of Kosovo has taken credible, but inconsistent, steps in identifying, investigating, prosecuting, and punishing officials who have committed human rights violations.
The report’s summary highlights that there were no credible reports of serious human rights violations in our country.
The report also includes findings on media freedom, workers’ rights, working conditions, and the treatment of survivors of sexual violence during the conflict, noting that some institutional processes remain slow and not always consistent.
