Two UCCK clinics are expected to offer new services to patients

Prime Minister Albin Kurti, together with the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, have inspected the works at the Hemato-Oncology Clinic and the Nephrology Clinic. These two new clinics are expected to offer services that Kosovar patients have previously received abroad, because they are not currently offered in the Kosovar healthcare system.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated that this project is worth 4.3 million euros and is expected to be completed within 24 months.

Prime Minister Kurti said that with the construction of this clinic, the provision of two new services that have not been provided so far will be enabled.

The plasmapheresis service and autologous bone marrow transplantation for acute leukemia are two of the services that are expected to be provided to Kosovar patients.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, stated that these investments in the health infrastructure are being made according to modern standards.

The Director of Hematology, Afërdita Ukimeraj, stated that this clinic needed space in order to treat patients more dignifiedly.

A week ago, the Orthopedics Clinic was also inaugurated at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. Meanwhile, during this year, renovations have been made in the Gynecology Clinic, Emergency, etc. /B.Ibishi/
