So far, two cases of prisoners infected with COVID-19 have been confirmed. Meanwhile, there are 26 correctional officers who have been infected with this disease, where 12 of them are still in self-isolation. Due to the increase in the number of cases with the pandemic, the Kosovo Correctional Service from July 11 has again banned visits for all prisoners.
