The President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, congratulated the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Kosovo’s declaration of Independence.

In his congratulatory letter, President Trump extended his wishes to the people of Kosovo on this important anniversary, reaffirming the unwavering support of the United States for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo.

President Trump expressed the United States’ readiness to expand the partnership between the two countries, particularly through increased trade and investment, with the aim of advancing shared prosperity. He added that the United States is ready to work alongside Kosovo to advance peace and stability for mutual benefit.

In the letter, the U.S. President thanked President Osmani and the people of Kosovo for supporting American peace efforts and welcomed Kosovo as a founding member of the Peace Board, which aims to make the world safer, stronger, and more prosperous.

On this occasion, President Trump expressed confidence in the further strengthening of cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
