In addition to salaries, outdated technology and the lack of certified miners are some of the challenges that Trepça has been facing for some time now. The Director of the Mine in Stantërg, Shyqyri Sadiku, requests from the Government of Kosovo, from the relevant institutions to help this company with investments as soon as possible, otherwise according to him there will be a decrease in production.

Challenges for the execution of salaries for miners, the management in this company has given up the monthly benefits for the Acting Director, and his salary is 1 thousand 900 euros, compared to that of the former director, which was 2 thousand 500 euros.

In addition, Sadiku also talks about the reasons for the dismissal of some miners in recent months.

Sadiku, while not ruling out the possibility of a drop in production, wants to increase the amount of financial resources for investments in Trepça.

Meanwhile, he says that as the acting director, he has given up the amount of the salary that was earlier.

Meanwhile, he also shows the reasons for the resignation of workers from this company.

We recall that the miners of Trepça went on strike during the summer of this year due to non-payment of salaries on time.

Meanwhile, the Government of Kosovo has allocated over 4 million euros from the Economic Recovery Package for miners' salaries, in order to overcome the current crisis.

About 30 million euros have been allocated to the public enterprise Trepça by the Government of Kosovo in the last four years.
