A traffic accident has occurred in Pristina involving a motorcycle and a police officer, KosovaPress reports.

The spokesperson of the Police for the Pristina region, Enis Pllana, told KosovaPress that during an attempt to stop the motorcyclist, “the motorcyclist struck the police officer and fled the scene.”

“At around 11:30, a traffic accident with injuries occurred on Garibaldi Street in Pristina. The accident involved a motorcycle and a police officer. During efforts to stop him, the motorcyclist hit the police officer and left the scene. The police officer received medical treatment, and the case is being handled by the relevant units,” Pllana said.
