There are still three days until the development of the biggest sports event in the country so far, where elite judokas from all over the world will land in Prishtina.

On December 16 (Saturday), the finals of the European Judo Championship "Prishtina 2023" will take place, KosovaPress reports.

The coach of the Kosovo judo team, Driton Kuka, told KosovaPress that the preparations for this European competition went well, whereas he believes that there will be medals for Kosovo from this competition as well.

"The preparations went well; I really believe that we will get medals for Kosovo from this competition as well. This is the goal. In the men's category, the best in the world are coming, as well as in the women's category," said Kuka.

Distria Krasniqi, Nora Gjakova, Akil Gjakova and Dardan Cena will compete for the first time in the European Championship in their home, in Kosovo.
