The Kosovo police confiscated a rifle with two magazines, as well as 115 cartridges, last night in the house of the former policeman in the village of Hrvatska in the municipality of Leposavic.

Sources of KosovaPress inform that it is about the former police officer of Kosovo with the initials S.U. (full name known to the editor’s), member of Bosnian nationality, who resigned from the police in November 2022.

According to these sources, even though he resigned a year and a half ago, he continued to be on the payroll of the Kosovo Police.

Reliable sources from the north have added that among the resigned policemen who continue to receive salaries from the institutions of Kosovo, there is also the former superior of the Kosovo police with the initials B.R., to whom the police found an arsenal of weapons two weeks ago in Zvecan.

It is known that there are a total of ten people from the four northern municipalities who left the police on November 7, 2022 and continue to receive salaries from the Republic of Kosovo.

In this regard, KosovaPress has tried to contact acting director of the police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, but he was unavailable to talk on his phone. /KosovaPress/
