Spain will take over the presidency of the Council of the European Union from July 1, 2023. The second six months of this year are expected to be challenging for Kosovo's European integration path. The non-recognition of Spain and the recent political developments in Kosovo, where the imposition of a series of measures by the EU have been mentioned, can stop the integration process of Kosovo. However, members of Vetëvendosje say that they do not expect the EU's approach to Kosovo to change during the Spanish presidency.
