The meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the Strike Council chaired by the president of the Teacher’s Union (SBAShK), Rrahman Jasharaj ended without any agreement. After this meeting, which lasted almost two hours, Jasharaj said that the parties have not changed their position. The trade unionists demand 100 euros per month until the adoption of the Law on Salaries, whereas the government has allocated only 50 euros per month until the end of this year.

In addition to the Prime Minister, Kurti, the Minister of Education, Arbërie Nagavci and the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, were also present at the meeting with the Strike Council.

From this long-awaited meeting of the Strike Council, Jasharaj said that the Government of Kosovo is standing behind the package that it presented days ago, despite the fact that they were ready for some small compromise...
