Gani Sopi is the fifth witness for Salih Mustafa's defense, who is being heard by the trial panel at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague. There, Sopi talked about the first period of 1999 and the meetings with Salih Mustafa, where according to him, they met in the village of Butovc in the first weeks of April. The former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army said that Salih Mustafa had been interested in sheltering and providing the necessary assistance to civilians.
