At today’s meeting, the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions, has not managed to approve the draft-decision of the Ombudsperson regarding the election in the Assembly of five deputy Ombudspersons.

Although it was attempted to be put to a vote by the chairwoman of the committee, the discussion about the proceedings in the session and the reports that were raised in the committee in the last three meetings made it impossible. For this reason, the MPs decided to convene again tomorrow after receiving a recommendation on this issue from the legal office of the Assembly.
